Dr. Miki has taught at U.C.L.A, U.S.C., and California State University at Dominguez Hills, as well as in the Los Angeles City School System.   She presently serves as an adjunct professor in the College of Psychology at American Jewish University in Bel Air, California – teaching Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, Psychological Tests and Measurements, and more.

Dr. Miki also teaches seminars and speaks at professional conferences for numerous organizations and businesses including Disney Animation, Disney On-Line, Warner Bros. Animation, The Getty Center for the Arts, and Kidscreen.  Seminar topics include:  Children and TV, Children and the Internet, The Role of Reseach in Children’s Program Development, and The Role of Humor in Children’s Learning.   Dr. Miki has been lauded for her ability to design multimedia programs to train teachers, parents/caregivers and students to realize educational objectives.
